Part Two: Intermediate Buttercream Flowers
In part two, students will learn a variety of high-impact piped, “flat” flowers, perfect for incorporating into buttercream bouquet arrangements or for using as stand-alone decoration to cover the entire top of a cake or cupcake. Vines, leaves, and greens will be introduced as a way to structure more advanced layouts. This session is designed to expand upon students’ growing skillset, while practicing synthesizing techniques to create dynamic and visually cohesive cakes.
Session goals: Gerber daisies, sunflowers, tulips, pansies, fantasy flowers, vine and leaf variations, full ring layout, crescent layout
