Our classes start at $99 per person, prices vary depending upon the type of class.

In store classes are 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours, unless otherwise noted.

Classes are hands on and full student participation. Students practice techniques demonstrated by our instructors and take home their completed projects.

NY Cake Academy takes keeping all customers, students and store staff healthy a priority. Were taking extra steps to create a safe class experience for all:

* We are closely following CDC and local public health orders and guidelines.

* We have increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing with disinfectants throughout the store and classroom.

* We have safety and health protocols set in place for our employees.

After choosing the desired class you’d like to register for, pick your date, quantity of seats you'd like to reserve, and select add to cart.
Finalize registration details (registrant name(s), email, phone number) and payment details via the shopping cart.

NY Cake Academy will provide all students with an apron. We recommend wearing casual clothing that you won’t mind getting a little sugar on, and flat comfortable shoes. Open toed shoes and sandals are not recommended as this is a safety concern when working within a kitchen. Long hair should be tied back. Unless required by local public health orders, face masks are optional for employees and customers.

Yes! We offer both private lessons and small group lessons. To inquire for more information, please email custom@nycakeacademy.com.

Unless specific age requirements are posted on the class detail page, Kids After-School Classes and Camps are designed for ages 5+ while regular classes, workshops and certificate programs are geared toward teens and adults. Please note some holiday classes are restricted to 21+ only.

We do not offer refunds, but with notice 48 hours prior to start time of your event, we can offer an account credit to allow you to reschedule. Please note, account credits expire 12 months from the date of your request. Please call 212-675-CAKE, or email custom@nycakeacademy.com to make your cancellation request.

Class registration will remain open until 6pm the evening before the class date, or until the class sells out.
